About Alyah Kanso
Alyah Kanso is an intersectional environmentalist and the founder of Carry On Consulting, a sustainability practice rooted in operations and program design. They spent years building climate programs inside organizations — most recently as Sustainability Manager at the Golden State Warriors, where Alyah launched Chase Center's first full-time sustainability program from the ground up. Their work there included a food recovery program that donated more than 40,000 pounds in its first year, a climate employee program that enrolled 16% of staff, and million-dollar sustainability partnerships — all built as self-sustaining operational systems, not one-time initiatives. Before that, they led a team of contractors delivering custom sustainability frameworks across hospitality, production, and events at Good Planet Innovation. Alyah is a certified TRUE Advisor and a recognized advocate for climate justice. Through Carry On Consulting, they work with venues, institutions, and large organizations to turn sustainability commitments into programs the whole organization can own and run.
