About Anthony Dandridge

Anthony Dandridge, Lecturer in SUNY New Paltz’s Department of Black Studies, is an Afrocentric-Africana philosopher who emphasizes culture in his teaching. He co-founded and directs the Black Lives Matter at School at New Paltz Collective. As a Sustainability Faculty Fellow, he integrates Environmental Justice and interdisciplinary sustainability as a progressive pedagogy rooted in the interdependence of our reality. He also serves as a COIL instructor, UUP delegate, and Member of the Statewide DEI Committee. In addition, he co-directs Mindful Campus, fostering contemplative practices among faculty, and contributes broadly to campus and community efforts advancing D.E.I.J.B.
