About Eric Keeling

Eric Keeling teaches Ecology and related courses at SUNY New Paltz. He holds a B.S in Conservation & Resource Studies from UC Berkeley, a M.M in Music Performance from San Diego State University, and a PhD in Organismal Biology & Ecology from the University of Montana. His main research interests are in forest ecology and conservation biology. Eric grew up in a family of musicians, hikers, and academics. His father, Charles and brother, Ralph are associated with the Mauna Loa CO2 Record, also known as the Keeling Curve.
