About Melissa Yang Rock

Melissa Yang Rock, CM, PhD is an Associate Professor of Geography and Environmental Studies at SUNY New Paltz as well as an affiliate faculty with the Asian Studies program and the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department. Rock’s teaching, research, and activist commitments center on collaborative and interdisciplinary movements toward social and environmental health, equity, and justice.
