About Nosipho Faith Makhakhe

Nosipho Faith Makhakhe PhD, is a senior lecturer at the Durban University of Technology Centre for General Education in South Africa. She holds a PhD in health promotion and a Master of Social Science in health promotion (Cum Laude). Her primary research interest is in understanding the lifestyles of vulnerable and key populations and the social factors that expose them to sexually transmitted infections particularly HIV in South Africa. She is currently venturing into the field of climate change and the impact that climate change has on the mental health of young people in the Global South.
