About Nicole Simon

Nicole Simon is a Professor in the STEM disciplines at SUNY Nassau Community College, where Nicole has received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Creative and Scholarship. She holds a doctorate in Educational Technology Management and Instructional Design. Nicole is a certified OSCQR Trainer and is Creative Commons certified. Nicole has been COILing for over 10 years and is a COIL Trainer. She teaches a Sustainability course focused on the UN SDGs using COIL projects. Her research focuses on the uses of technology and virtual experimentation.
